Help us bridge the gaps in services to ensure all have access to necessary services to thrive.

CHANGING LIVES FOR THE BETTER

Culture and language are central to our work. With shared experience and culture, we work individually with each client and family to identify strengths and areas of support and ways to remain connected to cultural practices while integrating into a new home. This is done through offering holistic support from translation of documents and mail, to providing English Language classes, to interpretation at school meetings with families, to helping job seekers transition to a new workplace environment and develop new skills if needed.

We also use our cultural practices to inform our programming and advocacy efforts. Once practice shared across many cultures is the use of gatherings to build community connections and support through sharing food, stories, lessons, and music in our oral traditions.

Employment Assistance

Helping job seekers transition to new workplace environments, offering career assessments, resume building, job placement services, and specialized training for skill development.

Cultural Integration Programs

Facilitating activities and events that help clients and families remain connected to their cultural practices while integrating into their new community, such as cultural festivals and traditional celebrations.

Community Building Initiatives

Organizing gatherings, such as tea with elders and leaders, to share stories, lessons, and work towards community-driven solutions, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support.

Advocacy & Outreach Efforts

Supporting our programming and advocacy initiatives that address the unique needs of our community, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met at local, state, and national levels.

Youth Programming

Supporting youth in finding employment and empowering youth to be our community’s next generation of leaders through youth programming and afterschool services.
